Your well-being at higher altitudes
Drink water regularly in quantities that are sufficient to avoid any risk of dehydration, renal colic, or blood mass concentration.
WATCH YOUR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION!
Avoid alcohol, as it dehydrates you and its effect is three times stronger in altitude. Mixing acohol and medication is strongly discouraged.
"Alcohol abuse is bad for your health, please consume in moderation."
A LITTLE EXERCISE
To activate your blood circulation, make sure to move around, stretch, and do some exercises as long as the cabin crew allow it and you don’t disturb your neighbors.
SLEEP WELL DURING YOUR FLIGHT
You have a face mask, blanket, and a pillow. Avoid sleeping hunched up.
Wear loose and light clothing. Untie your laces or take off your shoes to keep your feet from swelling. Wear support stockings or socks, especially if you have ever had thrombosis or varicose veins.
It’s better to wear glasses than contact lenses.
MANAGE JET LAG
Set your watch to your destination time as soon as you get on board and adjust your rhythm to this new time (sleep and meal times).
The cabin personnel is available to give you tips on what you can do to have a pleasant flight.
