WHERE SHOULD I VISIT IN CUBA?

Paragraphes test 1

Cuba, the crocodile-shaped island... A country rich in history despite the poverty of some of its inhabitants.

PLAN YOUR VISITS

It’s a difficult task for any tourist to plan where to start their trip and which parts of the country to visit. Why not start with the miles of white sandy beaches the island has to offer? Varadero, Cayo Largo, Cayo Coco, Guardalavaca... Or what about the island’s rich heritage, traditions and beautiful Spanish colonial architecture?

FANCY A BIT OF HISTORY?

Start your visit in this beautiful country with Havana and its charming old town. Take a stroll down the famous Malecón, an 5 mile-long promenade by the sea adored by Cubans for its laidback atmosphere and beautiful views of the city. Living in Havana is seen as a privilege by Cubans. To continue your tour of the most attractive tourist spots, why not stop by the beautiful town of Trinidad? And finally, visit another top spot for colonial architecture with a trip to Santiago de Cuba, home to some of the oldest city squares, museums and cultural centers on the island such as the Casa de Velasquez.

A LITTLE BIT OF LAZING AROUND

If it’s a romantic escape you’re looking for, head to the little island of Cayo Levisa for dinner for two on the beach. Head to the Bay of Pigs for a bit of snorkeling and finally to Baracoa at the tip of the island (a little town about 4 hours from Santiago de Cuba), a hidden paradise that was for a long time cut off from the rest of the island, hidden behind a mountain range, offering a landscape that will take your breath away.

If you’re looking for the authentic Cuban town experience, stop by Cienfuegos, a charming little seaside town with a unique atmosphere. Take time to chat to the locals and familiarize yourself with the real Cuban culture and way of life. And while you’re here, take the opportunity to walk along the Rancho Luna, a beach split into two parts: one wild, one calm. The late-afternoon sunset illuminates the sky with spectacular colours, making this an unforgettable spot.
