A LITTLE PARADISE FOR TOURISTS
Although thousands of tourists gather here every year to enjoy the turquoise waters of this Caribbean paradise, Varadero has so much more to offer besides its 13 miles of white sandy beaches. The area, although a little less authentic than other spots such as Havana or Santiago de Cuba, offer you a great insight into Cuban culture with its many museums, art galleries, cabarets, cafés and little markets. There is a large variety of accommodation options available to suit every budget.
For the outdoorsy tourist there are plenty of walking trails and caves to explore, as well as the fauna and flora of the Varahicacos Nature Reserve.
...AND SPORTS LOVERS
For fans of a more active vacation, there are many possibilities: Varadero is the home of one of the only two golf clubs in the country. If golf’s not your thing, you can try out water sports or a boat or catamaran trip.
