hour before flight departure for regional flights and 1.5 hours before departure for transatlantic flights.
Passengers should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the Check-in Deadline. Beyond this time seat reservations will be canceled.
ONLINE CHECK-IN, A REAL TIME-SAVER!
In fact, by printing your boarding card and your own baggage labels* from your home or office, here’s what you can do once you get to the airport:
If you are traveling without hold baggage:
You can proceed straight to the Police and security formalities and make your way directly to the gate for your departure (at least 1 hour prior to departure of a regional flight or at least 1.5 hours for a departure on a transatlantic flight). You must present yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the Check-in Deadline. Outside of this schedule seat reservations will be canceled.
If you have hold baggage but have not printed your baggage labels:
You must drop your baggage at the “CARAIBES” desk before the check-in deadline (1.5 hours prior to departure of the flight for transatlantic flights and 1 hour for regional flights). You must present yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the Check-in Deadline. Outside of this schedule seat reservations will be canceled.
If you have hold baggage but have not printed your baggage labels*:
Once at the airport, make your way straight to the Air Caraïbes baggage drop-off area
Moreover, you choose your own seat in the airplane on a cabin map.
For round trips (that is, if the return takes place on the same day) you will be issued one boarding card only.
*Available only for departure from Paris Orly 4.
HOW DO YOU CHECK IN ONLINE?
This service is available from 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure of your flight (for regional flights) and 1.5 hours prior to departure (for transatlantic flights).

- Step 1: IDENTIFICATION:
In order to display details of your journey, you must identify yourself: Enter your last name as well as your booking folder number (made up of 6 letters or figures*)
*You can find it in your booking confirmation e-mail or printed on your paper ticket.
- Step 2: CHECK-IN
The list of passengers booked in one booking folder is displayed. You can check-in all these passengers at the same time. If you wish to add another passenger, you simply need to click on “check in another passenger” and enter their identification details.
NOTE the baggage regulations, which you now need to check and confirm in an additional step.
- Step 3: READ AND ACCEPT THE RESTRICTIONS ON THE CARRIAGE OF HAZARDOUS GOODS (carry-on or checked-in baggage).
- Step 4: CHOOSE YOUR SEAT AND CONFIRM
You will see the seats that have been allocated to you as well as those of passengers appearing in your booking. If these seats suit you, click and confirm; otherwise, change your seat. To do this, select the passenger and choose another seat.
- Step 5: PRINT YOUR OWN BAGGAGE LABELS:
Select the option “baggage labels” when checking in online. Print your baggage label in A4 format (standard paper) and fold it in four.

- Step 6: REREAD, CHECK and PRINT YOUR BOARDING CARD
You are now checked in. In this final step, you can print your travel documents (you must have “Acrobat” software on your computer) To save time at the airport, you can print your own boarding card and those of the passengers who are traveling with you prior to making your way there. You must present yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the Check-in Deadline. Outside of this schedule seat reservations will be canceled.
WHAT’S THE PROCEDURE ONCE AT THE AIRPORT?

- If you have (hold) baggage, you simply need to drop it off beforehand at the “CARAIBES” check-in desk prior to the deadline.
As it can take quite a long time to get through security, be sure not to arrive at the airport too late!

NEW RESTRICTIONS ON CABIN BAGGAGE
Don’t forget that getting through security can take quite a long time. You must therefore arrive at the airport at least 1 hour beforehand.
- If you do not have a printer or if you encounter a problem when trying to print your document, your check-in will definitely be recorded.
However, you will need to collect your boarding card for your flight at the check-in desk prior to the check-in deadline!
At the check-in desk, you will need to present your ID (valid).
